ROUTE

Meeting point at 5.30 pm: Corso Carlo Alberto (on the Piazza Ugo Bassi side) The parade will depart and pass through: Via Guglielmo Marconi – Via XXIX Settembre – Via dell’Appannaggio – Piazza della Repubblica – Largo Sacramento – Corso Stamira – Arrival point: Piazza Cavour, where the event will continue with testimonials and music until late night.

PARKING FOR THOSE ARRIVING BY CAR

1. The first car park we recommend (the closest to the start and also suitable for buses) is Piazza d’Armi (about 900m from the start).
2. The second car park (halfway along the route) is at the port near Largo Fiera della Pesca (about 1.1km from the start).
3. Parcheggio degli Archi (paid parking) is about 550 m from the start.
4. Parcheggio Stamira (paid parking) is about 200 m from the finish line.

IF YOU ARRIVE BY TRAIN

Get off at Ancona Central Station (just 650 metres from the meeting point) and take bus 1/4 towards Piazza Ugo Bassi.

If you don’t want to take the bus, you can walk from the station by taking Via Giordano Bruno and then Via Ragnini, which will take you directly to the departure point in Corso Carlo Alberto.

RETURN BY TRAIN

Last train of the evening to Pesaro at 10.35 p.m. from Ancona Central Train Station.

Last train of the evening to San Benedetto at 9.53 p.m. from Ancona Central Train Station.

TOILETS ALONG THE ROUTE

Arcopolis:Accessible toilet in accordance with the law in Via Fornaci Comunali, about 850m from the starting point (it is along the route, we will pass close by).

Bar la Piazzetta:located near Piazza Roma at the arrival point. No steps, first sliding door 75cm, second sliding door 80cm, dimensions 190x160cm (190x130cm in one part of the room). The bathroom only has a toilet.

White Bakery:located near Piazza Roma at the arrival point. No steps, door opens outwards (door size 80 cm; room size 160 x 190 cm). The toilet is on the long side, opposite the sink.

ADDITIONAL ACCESSIBILITY TOOLS

1. At the front of the parade, near one of our vehicles, water and earplugs will be available.
2. Just behind the front of the parade, there will be an area called the decompression zone. This is a ‘buffer’ zone that provides a quiet, less stimulating space for anyone who needs a break from the sensory stimuli of the parade itself. It is a space that allows people to temporarily withdraw and recover from overstimulation, anxiety or fatigue without having to leave the event completely.
3. At the end of the parade, there will be one of our vehicles equipped to accommodate people with disabilities, people with walking difficulties or those who are simply tired. They will be able to take a seat and will not feel compelled to leave the event.
4. However, if you need anything during the event (you feel ill, need something, don’t feel safe, etc.), please contact the organisers, who will be present throughout the entire parade. They are easy to spot thanks to the coloured fluorescent armbands they will be wearing. They will listen to you and take care of you, as well as providing water and earplugs.
